Winter is just around the corner

On this terribly hot and hummid July day winter preparations has already begun.  

 Gramps has already made three of the 6 trips to get wood pellets for heating this winter. One trip to my house today.  Now if I could only get him to wait for me to get off work to unload his at his house.  

Earlier this year I moved my old shed and replaced the foundation and floorboards to the  best of my ability with the odd way it was built.  I have never seen walls toenailed directly to the decking and not a sil plate. I’m hoping to get four tons in the shed so I can keep the porch  clear and not have to make many if any trips to the barn to get more this winter.  I put off mowing for yet another day. It has jusr been too hot for me to get motivated not to mention Nikki has gotten me sick now.
