Today my new top quilt from Hammock Gear and my new 11′ Dutch hammock have arrived. 

I ordered the Stock burrow Econ 40. It came with a od green outer and a black inner layer with a snapped foot box. I could have selected from many other colors  but the wait time is around 4 weeks and I’m impatient and wanted it for my next trip so I could lose some weight and mass. I have been using a poncho liner or woodbie but it weights in at over 2lbs and is very bulky. I almost forgot  about the Stock Econ Pillow Ion fabric and 800 fill power with shock cord for keeping it in your hammock.

I purchased a 11′ netless  hammock. I had been using a 9′ grand trunk UL and haven’t been able to get a decent night sleep. Many. People said the longer the better so I decided to try dutches hammock before I went back to the ground. I think the wide version  maybe a better choose but they were out of stock to, seems to be a theme with this good gear. So far I have only had it set up on the porch but it already feels better.
